Emission Test Chamber 250 according to ISO 16000-9

The quality of indoor air is strongly influenced by volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from materials and products used in the building industry, including adhesives, furniture, paints, and many more. These products and materials are analysed in emission test chambers to determine their emission levels of VOC into the air as described in the ISO 16000-9 standard („Determination of the emission of volatile organic compounds from building products and furnishing – Emission test chamber method“).

Our Emission Test Chamber 250 allows characterization of VOCs under precise test conditions and is fully compliant with the requirements of the ISO 16000-9 standard.

When adding a BINDER climate chamber, you can even test material behaviours under constant temperature conditions, meeting the requirements of various additional testing methods from other industries, such as chamber tests according to BMW GS 97014-2 and -3.
