In 2000 Odournet S.L. was registered to provide services to
the emerging market for odour consultancy in Spain. Although
regulatory initiatives are still in the initial stages, the
strong economy and emphasis on good quality of life as an economic
asset are indicative for increasing demand in the next few years.
Odournet S.L. maintains a permanent presence in Barcelona, managed
by Ton van Harreveld, the Odournet chairman with a clear preference
to be in charge of business development in the smallest company
within the group.
Odournet S.L. has carried out projects for landfill operators,
metal processing companies, energy recuperation from solid waste
and wastewater treatment plants. Odournet S.L. provides supporting
consultancy services and analytical services for GC-MS and olfactometry
to larger general consulting engineers in the Spanish market.
