Odour impact assessment posed by an industrial installation is a complex process which involves consideration of a range of factors which include the odour intensity,  frequency and duration of exposure, and offensiveness of the odour generated; and the odour sensitivity of the residents of the receiving environment.

Odournet are fully conversant with all odour impact assessment techniques currently in use in Europe and their practical implementation, and offer these techniques through any of the Odournet offices. Examples include:
