The Odournet group
comprises six companies that are dedicated to providing
consultancy on environmental odours.
The
Netherlands PRA Odournet BV was established
in 1980. It works mainly for the national market in the
Netherlands, but also operates internationally (e.g. United
States, Latin America, Asia). Located in Amsterdam, it
hosts the OlfaktoLab, the PRA Odournet BV olfactometry
laboratory. The company also coordinates the group’s
calibration and laboratory equipment supply capabilities. |
United
Kingdom Odournet UK Ltd. was established
in 1994. The company provides services to the UK, Ireland
and internationally (e.g. United States). The company
is located near Bath and hosts the Olfactolab olfactometry
laboratory. The company specialises in nuisance investigation,
problem definition, and IPPC/ planning licence preparation.

Spain
Odournet S.L. is one of the youngest members of Odournet
Group, established in 2000. Odournet S.L is located in
Barcelona and provides a consultancy base to provide services
to Southern Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy and South of
France). The company also co-ordinates the provision of
group services to the Latin American market.

Belgium
PRG Odournet NV was founded in 1999
to ensure continuity in the provision of high level expertise
on odour issues in Belgium. The PRG team offers the full
range of Odournet services and also provides internationally
recognised expertise in analytical chemical analysis techniques
for odorous compounds and air quality issues. PRG shares
resources with PRA Odournet BV, while maintaining the
links with the University of Ghent for advanced analytical
issues.

Odournet S.A. de C.V., established in
2006, aims to provide its service to the Americas, reinforcing
Odournet Group’s ability to provide leading edge
odour expertise internationally. Being located in México,
Odournet is well placed to provide its services to Latin
America and to the Southern United States.

In France, Odournet operates with a local partner, SODAE, with more than 10 years experience in odour studies. The new company, AROMA Consult, was created at the end of 2006 in the city of Betton. Their offices host an olfactometry laboratory, and a Studies & Consultancy unit with 35 trained specialists. Their expertise is teamed with strong analytical capabilities in the physicochemical area. |
