The OlfaktoLab is the PRA OdourNet BV laboratory for olfactometry. The laboratory uses an olfaktomat-n6 olfactometer and maintains a quality management system according to ISO/IEC17025 and is accredited as a calibration laboratory for olfactometry and calibration of gas dilution instruments by the Council for Accreditation, under accreditation registration K077. The laboratory carries out odour concentration measurements using dynamic olfactometry according to the Dutch national preliminary standard NVN2820 and also complies with the draft European standard EN13725 'Air quality - Odour concentration measurement using dynamic olfactometry. Olfaktolab conducts measurements routinely, processing in excess of 1500 samples per year. The OdourNet group has a second olfactometry laboratory in Bradford on Avon (U.K). Capacity for sophisticated chemical analysis is available within OdourNet at project Research Gent NV, Belgium. Analysis of VOC's using GC-MS, specifically aimed at resolving odour related issues, is conducted at PRG, combined with extensive experience in the interpretation of chromatography results.
